OA Melbourne Intergroup
Overeaters Anonymous Melbourne Intergroup Inc., established in February 1987, is an OA registered service body created to serve affiliated OA groups within Victoria and Tasmania.
Intergroup (IG) is where members from affiliated groups meet to share OA news, serve together on committees and do the footwork of serving the groups and members carrying the message to those who still suffer.
Monthly IG meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month (except January) from 7pm-8pm via Zoom. If you would like to attend the next IG meeting, please email oa.melb@gmail.com to request the login details.
All OA members are welcome to participate in Intergroup committees. It is a great way to keep your recovery alive!

At intergroup (IG), we serve according to the principles of the Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions and Twelve Concepts of OA Service.
Our governance documents include: The Intergroup Bylaws which outline who we are and how we operate, the Intergroup Conundrums and Bylaws Solutions which is a light-hearted way for members to get to understand the bylaws and their value, and The Policies and Procedures Manual which contains the group conscience history of the many ways Intergroup has agreed to operate. These documents benefit us in serving together with sanity and serenity.
